One of the major limitations in studying hereditary human diseases is a lack of “high fidelity” models that recapitulate human disorders. To address this problem, we have developed an extensive collection of contemporary patient-derived cellular models. We use modern gene editing techniques with these avatars to model, prevent, and treat hereditary disorders.
